Running late tonight. Decided to break my years’ long boycott and stop at Wendy’s. They’ve been advertising their chili. I figured, “How bad can it be?” Answer? Pretty bad. The large chili was watery, with some offensive unidimensional spice (cayenne?), a few beans, and some hamburger grit. My coke had what looke like a 3:1 ice to coke ratio. Never again.
Apparently all shoe stores in Sweden display left-footed shoes. This should eliminate any incentive for thieves to steal the displays, since a left-footed shoe is worthless without its other pair, right?
Well, not so fast. Thing is, all shoe stores in neighboring Denmark display only right-footed shoes. Creating a perfect cross-border arbitrage opportunity. According to The Times of London:
