Google Street View Skis the Olympics

Wired noticed in the Google Street View blog that the street view team decided to capture the Olympic skiing venue in style.

They retrofitted a snowmobile using cameras, duct tape and a bunch of hard drives to record a skier-eye view of Whistler Blackcombe, the resort where Olympic skiing events will be contested.

Pretty cool. Of course, they posted a video to YouTube to document the project.
