Wired noticed in the Google Street View blog that the street view team decided to capture the Olympic skiing venue in style.

They retrofitted a snowmobile using cameras, duct tape and a bunch of hard drives to record a skier-eye view of Whistler Blackcombe, the resort where Olympic skiing events will be contested.

There’s a new app for the iPhone: Siri, which is billed as your very own digital personal assistant. I almost ignored the reviews, but on a lark, watched the company’s demo video (posted on LifeHacker).

In the UK, retailers are getting into the divorce celebration business. First divorce cards, then divorce cake and divorce parties. Now it’s a divorce gift registry.
